Lambda-Cyhalothrin acts by disrupting signal transmission in insect neural axons, resulting in repellent, knockdown, and lethal effects on insects. It demonstrates a wide-ranging spectrum of insecticidal activity, characterized by strong efficacy and swift action. Although it maintains rainfastness post-application, prolonged usage may lead to the development of resistance. Lambda-Cyhalothrin offers a certain degree of protection against piercing-sucking pests and harmful mites. While it can help limit mite population growth during initial infestations, its effectiveness wanes as mite numbers escalate significantly. As such, it is suitable for supplemental mite control rather than serving as a dedicated acaricide.

Application/Usage: Lambda Cyhalothrin is effective in controlling a broad range of insect pests, including aphids, leafhoppers, whiteflies, colorado beetles, thrips, lepidoptera larvae, coleoptera larvae, as well as certain types of moths and worms. It finds application in various crops such as wheat, corn, ornamentals, potatoes, vegetables, and cotton. Additionally, it demonstrates efficient management of plant viruses transmitted by insects when applied at rates of 2-5 g/ha. Moreover, Lambda Cyhalothrin is employed for the regulation of insect pests in the domain of public health.
